Two of the world’s biggest gaming companies, MGM Mirage and Harrah’s Entertainment have its headquarters in the city contributing to 20 percent of the gaming-related jobs in Las Vegas. With the influx of people from other places to live and work in the city, the housing construction in the city has experienced a boom and significantly contributed to the city’s economy.

Las Vegas labeled itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World with the presence of various casino resorts, shopping centers and fine dining restaurants.
